I have a Ph.D. in Psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station.  I currently live on 14 acres in Hunt County, near Greenville, Texas, with my Standard Poodle and my Australian Cattle Dog.  I am a Master Gardener and a woodworker when I am not writing.
